For winters here in Michigan, MuckBoots original "Woody Max" are the boots for us! Actually, we start wearing our "Muck Boots" in the Autumn, when the ground starts getting wet and yes, mucky. Although they are meant for cold temperatures these boots are light weight enough to wear from Fall to Spring. They are not heavy, however, they are extremely warm and waterproof! In our profession we are in the woods and sometimes low ground, such as cedar swamps. It is not unusual to come across water in these low lying areas. In these boots our feet will actually stay dry! There are times when we have to cross creeks or even rivers, and our feet stay dry in these boots!
They slip on and slip off easily, so not bending over to tie or untie boot stings...another nice feature.
We have had people walk up to us and ask us what we thought of our boots and if we were happy with them because they were considering getting a pair. We tell them "Yes, we are very happy with our Woody Max Muck Boots!".
