The bush honeysuckle
The bush honeysuckle is an invasive species that can be seen through out Michigan. Invasive species cause harm when they out-compete native species by reproducing and spreading rapidly in areas where they have no natural predators and change the balance of the ecosystems we rely on.
• Invasive species can destroy wildlife habitat.
• You can protect prime hunting areas by cleaning your gear to assure
seeds and debris from invasive plants aren’t hitchhiking with you.
